Course-based and Tempo are handled differently
Walden runs two systems and the work looks different in each. Course-based classes sit inside fixed quarters with hard weekly deadlines, so the calendar drives everything: the desk works a week ahead where it can and delivers before the 10:59 PM Central cutoff your syllabus states. Tempo Learning has no weekly clock and scores competency assessments instead, with a limited number of attempts on each one, so the order of work flips. Fewer, larger deliverables, each written to the rubric rows before a single attempt gets spent.
Say which one you are in when you write. The syllabus settles it: numbered weeks with due dates means course-based, and a course code carrying a TL suffix usually signals the Tempo variant.

The MSN core sits at NURS 6501, NURS 6512 and NURS 6521; the track courses run through NRNP 6531, NRNP 6635 and their siblings; doctoral nursing runs DNRS sciences and the NURS 8600 field experience.
